Frannie (Saltmarshe Arcadia Light In August DCAT) has been bred to Nautica's Dark Star (Henry) and has been confirmed pregnant! Puppies are due June 15 and ready to go home around August 15. This litter is co-bred with Fran's owner, our good friend Niki Stubbs at Bramasole Farm, who lives just outside Indianapolis, IN. Puppies are expected to be black or liver. Scroll down for more info.
Future Litter
We are planning a litter for Zelda (CH Arcadia's Breath of the Wild) and Woody (CH Pridemark's Knock on Wood) for late summer. This litter would be co-bred with Dr. Jenna Dockweiler DVM of Coppercrest Welsh Springer Spaniels and Zelda's owner, Nicole Shaffer of Triforza Field Spaniels. The litter will be located just outside of Denver, CO. They would be due in fall and ready to go home in early winter. Puppies expected to be liver or liver roan.

Frannie is a gentle and cuddly girl with the sweetest expression. She gets along with every animal and person she meets. She's calm and easygoing and likes nothing better than snuggling up under the blankets with her owner. She is friendly with new people but takes a minute to warm up, as some Field Spaniels do. She has a soft temperament and never enjoyed the show ring very much, though she was shown and has won her class a few times. But we didn't want to force the issue, so happy farm girl she is. Frannie loves to mother all of her kitty siblings and foster pups her owner Niki brings home. She does have a hunting streak and loves to catch birds or small critters outside on the farm if given the chance. She also likes to chase the plastic bunny in Fast CAT! Frannie has sound structure, especially her solid front assembly, and comes from a lesser-used, older pedigree on her dam Marnie's side that we want to preserve for the breed going forward. Frannie's father Rowan is also 13 years old and still very active and going strong!

Henry is a friendly and outgoing boy and beloved companion for his family, who hasn't had a chance to show much yet. However, he has proven himself as a stud dog, as his son Finn (CH Nautica's Mischief Managed) finished his championship at just 6 months old in a few weekends. (pictured below) We hope to gain some size & substance and keep some solid front assemblies from this pairing. But most especially we hope for some beautiful, friendly, and good-natured family companions.
